When visiting our website, Contacts by Company uses an analytics tool (Google Analytics) to understand such things as: what kind of device you are using, what operating system you are using, what country you are visiting from and if you are a first time visitor.
When you create an account with us, you provide a user name and password. We retain this information in case you forget or need to change your password.
In the use of our contacts application you store personal contact information of your family, friends and work associates. This info is stored on Google Firebase servers and is encrypted using the 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard. As Contacts by Company is available in many countries both inside the EU as well as out, you are hereby informed that the physical locations of the servers used for this service may be located outside of your country of residence.
Contacts by Company does NOT connect its user information (or the information they have stored) with any other company or entity, including social media sites. We do not sell, rent or otherwise share this information with anyone, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless required by law and supported by proper court authorization.
Contacts by Company will retain the above described information as long as a current subscription exist. Upon termination of a subscription, your information will be retained for a period of 90 days. After 90 days ALL information will be deleted. You have the right to request that we remove your information immediately. We may require that you confirm your identity before removing your information to protect you from malicious intent by another person.
Accounts that are closed by us for any form of fraud or abuse, may have some personal information provided retained to prevent that user for opening a new account.
By downloading Contacts by Company you hereby authorize us to communicate with you ONLY as it specifically relates to the Contacts by Company website and software. You specifically are NOT providing permission to receive marketing materials from us or any other third party.
Users have the right to receive a copy of all information that we have of them. All request will be complied with within 5 business days.
Users have the right to correct any errors or inconsistencies in any personal information we may have. All request will be complied with within 5 business days.
Users have the right to have all information about them deleted (See exception for accounts closed due to fraud or abuse) All request will be complied with within 5 business days.
While it is our policy not to share your information with any 3rd parties, you have the right , once per year, to request confirmation that none of your information has been shared.
While it is our policy not to use default opt-in functions, you do have the right to Opt-Out of permission to store and retain that information needed for our application to function as described. Essentially this is terminating your subscription to our service and all in information will be deleted as noted above under Information Retention.
As most jurisdictions do not recognize a person under the age of 16 as a legal adult, able to provide consent, any person under the age of 16 should not download and use our software and service. Parents aware of a minor that has downloaded and shared any personal information should contact us at help@contactsbycompany.com.
With changes in regulations and other factors it may become necessary to modify or replace this Policy. If a revision is made we will provide at least 90 days notice prior to any new policy taking effect and notify you by posting the Modified Policy on our website or other communications as may be required in each jurisdiction.
By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.
